# Speed up with the app launcher

Curiosity lets you launch apps from the Command Bar. That lets you switch quickly without taking your hands off the keyboard, saving you time and helping you stay focused.

# How to open apps with Curiosity

To launch an app with Curiosity:

Hit Alt+Space to open the Command Bar (⌥ + Space on Mac)
Type . (period) to filter for commands
Type the name of the program, select it from the results and hit Enter

The program will open on your computer.
