# How to find the data folder on Windows

To access the Curiosity data storage folder on Windows:

  1. Open Windows Explorer
  2. Click into the top bar (where you see the folder name)
  3. Paste this path into the bar: %appdata%\curiosity\local\storage and press Enter
  4. You will see the Curiosity data folder.

# How to find the data folder on macOS

To find the Curiosity data storage folder on macOS:

  1. Open Finder
  2. Press ⌘ + Shift + G ("Go to" menu)
  3. Paste this path into the popup: /Users/USER/Library/Application Support/curiosity/local/storage, replacing USER with your Mac username
  4. Hit Enter to go to the folder
  5. You will see the Curiosity data folder.

|| 💡 You may want to delete the data folder after uninstalling on Mac, because macOS does not do that automatically on uninstall.
