CleanMyMac by MacPaw can cause issues with Curiosity: It deletes files the app needs.

When using CleanMyMac, make sure you're not deleting files in the following folders:

• App folder: /Applications/Curiosity.app
• Data folder: /Users/USER/Library/Application Support/curiosity/local/storage (USER is your user name on your Mac)
