# Why connect Jira to Curiosity?

Curiosity for Jira lets you:

• Search Jira issues using quickly from the command bar
• Find issues and attachments by their content
• Open issues directly in Jira

# How to connect Jira

To connect Jira with Curiosity:

1. In the left bar, hover over Apps and click the + button
2. In the list of apps to connect, find Jira and click Connect
3. In the browser window that opens, log into your Atlassian account
4. Authorize Curiosity by clicking Accept

Jira will appear under Apps and you can search issues and attachments.

• Jira pages will open in your browser. If you'd prefer them to open in Curiosity or if you'd like to edit Jira from Curiosity, let us know!
