# Why connect Gmail to Curiosity?

Connecting your Gmail to Curiosity lets you:

Search all your email, attachments and contacts in one place
Search Gmail from anywhere with the Alt+Space shortcut
Combine several Gmail and other email accounts in one place

# How to connect Gmail

To connect your Gmail with Curiosity:

In the left bar, hover over Apps and click the + button
In the list of apps to connect, find Gmail and click Connect
In the browser window that opens, log into your Gmail account
Accept all permissions
Click Allow

Gmail will appear under Mail and your files will be searchable.

# Notes

You can connect as many Gmail accounts to Curiosity as you like. Just connect each one as a new source - each will count towards your total sources.
